Full description and what we offer
OTG Tactical is a veteran-owned professional use-of-force training company focused on providing relevant, current instruction to law enforcement agencies across Michigan and beyond. The training philosophy is straightforward: officers need to assess their environment, avert conflict when possible, and decisively resolve situations that can't be avoided.
OTG doesn't rely on a single method. They combine classroom instruction, live fire, force-on-force scenarios, and technology-based systems to build officers who can defend themselves and their communities effectively.
"The most important weapon an officer has at their disposal is their mind. The best way to train an officer to win on the street is to teach them HOW to think, not WHAT to think."
The backbone of any police department is its training section. OTG takes that responsibility seriously. Their instructor certification courses demand excellence—both from instructors and students. These aren't weekend seminars that hand out certificates. Graduates leave with the skills and knowledge to effectively manage their department's training program.
