Own Pheasant Hunting?
01 // DETAILS
Full description and what we offer
Wing Shooters Hunt Club and Kennels has operated since 1988 as a dedicated upland bird hunting preserve seven miles north of Ann Arbor. What sets them apart isn't just the hunting—it's the expertise behind it.
Charlie Linblade has been training gun dogs for over 40 years and appeared on Michigan Out of Doors, The American Bird Hunter, The Outdoorsman, North American Fish and Game, Outdoor America, and Fox Sports. His son Chuck brings 20+ years of training experience under his father's mentorship. Combined, they have over 60 years of gun dog training expertise.
Unlike typical preserve hunting in sorghum strips, Wing Shooters maintains rolling, semi-wooded grounds planted with a variety of prairie grasses. The habitat is designed to be as natural and wild as possible, with a strong focus on supporting upland birds. This approach reflects Charlie's philosophy: the land and the dogs make the hunt.
Youth Program: Bring your kids hunting to keep the sport alive. Two or more adult shooters can bring up to two young hunters at no additional charge.
