Three Hills Outfitters operates guided hunting trips focused on waterfowl and upland game. They run operations in southern Michigan and partner with Dry Creek Outfitters in Wichita Falls, Texas for turkey hunts.
Early Season Geese (September) - Morning hunts across farmland in southern Michigan - Close-quarters shooting from comfortable A-frame and layout blinds - Fresh feed/loaf hunts daily with professional calling - $350/person per day - Groups of 2+ preferred; limit of 5 geese per hunter per day
Michigan Turkey Hunts (3 days) - Eastern turkey hunts starting at first light near roosted birds - Near-perfect success rates with strong local turkey population - Experienced guides scout and relocate hunters to fired-up gobblers - $1,600 for 3-day packages - One-on-one or two-on-one guide ratios - Note: Lodging not included; hunters arrange their own in Wayland/Caledonia/Middleville area
Regular Season Waterfowl (Peak Migration) - Duck and goose hunts from clean blinds - Professional calling and heavily seasoned guides - Morning hunts, occasional afternoon/evening depending on flight schedules - $350/person per day
In partnership with Dry Creek Outfitters, they run 2-day/2-night ($2,750) and 3-day/3-night ($3,500) turkey hunts.
Lodging, complimentary 5-stand range, and transportation to/from hunts included
Missed Bird Fee: $500 fee on turkey hunts. Guides emphasize that hunters should pattern their guns and only take shots they're comfortable with. This reflects their commitment to ethical hunting practices.
For waterfowl: 12 or 20-gauge shotgun with BB, #1, #2, or #3 shot; camo or natural clothing; mud boots; waterfowl stamp and license.
For turkeys: Full camouflage setup including rain gear; 12 or 20-gauge with tight turkey choke (pattern your gun beforehand); TSS turkey loads #7-9; red dot sight recommended; applicable turkey license.
