Black Powder Match (Rifle)

Open to all black powder rifles.

Members $10, guests $15.

Registration starts at 9am, shooting starts at 10am.

This match will take place on the 100 yardrifle range. We will be firing at NRA200 yard size targets, standing, unsupported. You will begin with the gun unloaded. The time limit will be 10 minutes. You are allowed to fire as many shots as you can successfully putdownrange within the time limit. Yourscore will be from the score on the target, plus 5 points for each shot taken. Speed loaders will not be allowed. However, pre-measured shot charges will beallowed (meaning the bullet/ball must be loaded as a second step after thepowder. 10 point deduction for using anin-line gun. 20 point deduction forusing a scoped rifle. (hint – I amencouraging more of a primitive type of gun).
