Legends Ranch operates a dedicated whitetail hunting outfitter in Bitely, Michigan, focused on delivering premium trophy hunts paired with professional hospitality. Founded by Arthur Gutierrez Sr.—a lifelong hunter with 5 of the top 10 SCI estate whitetail records and an SCI World Hunter and Conservation Award—the ranch combines serious trophy management with detailed attention to every element that makes a hunt memorable.

The outfitter offers multiple hunt types throughout the season:

• •Presidential Hunts - Premium experience with choice of numerous 200+ inch trophy bucks. Clients often take multiple trophies while hunting alongside fellow enthusiasts.
• •Rut Hunts - Action-filled peak-season hunts during the rut
• •Post Rut Hunts - Hunts after the primary rut window
• •Turkey Hunts - Spring and fall turkey hunting
• •Special Youth Challenge Hunt - Dedicated youth hunter program
• •Purple Heart Hunt - Special program for military veterans

The main lodge is a modern facility with 8 guest bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms. Common areas include two group lounges, a cozy bar, large dining room, two private conference rooms, and outdoor fire pit overlooking the private lake.

Lodge amenities:

The property offers diverse terrain across northern Michigan. Hunters can choose from open grasslands for long-distance shooting, cedar bottoms for stalking, white oak flats for bow hunting, or tree line shooting lanes. Personal guides have access to the entire property to customize each hunt based on hunter preference and conditions. The locale features wooded terrain with fall colors, private lake views, waterfowl, and bald eagle sightings.

Established in 2018 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, The Wildlife Center at Legends Ranch is a 24,000 square foot facility housing over 3,000 animals from around the world. The center serves hunters, families, students, and groups with education focused on ethical hunting, outdoor understanding, and conservation.

Legends is dedicated to maintaining a high-quality whitetail herd through careful ground management and selective breeding. The combination of trophy buck management and diverse terrain supports consistent opportunities to encounter mature, premium deer throughout the season.
