Qua-Ke-Zik Sportsman's Club was founded in 1938 and named after Chief Nowaaquakezick, an Ottawa leader from the early 1800s. After locations on Dean Lake and in Lowell Township, the club moved to its current 250-acre property west of Saranac in 2006—a sprawling facility that's become the real deal for Michigan shooters.
Rifle & Pistol - Rifle range: 25 ft, 25 yards, 50 yards, 100 yards, 200 yards - Covered shooting benches (all-weather) - 50-foot enclosed, heated pistol range with covered outdoor targets - Bermed backstops for downrange safety
Shotgun Sports - Lighted skeet fields - Trap field - Single and multiple target challenges for all skill levels
Archery - Indoor range in the clubhouse basement
100% accessible grounds. Full clubhouse with kitchen, large patio, restrooms, and pool table. The property borders the Grand River and includes native woodland habitat—this isn't a cramped range, it's an actual outdoor experience.

Shooting Hours - Rifle Range: Monday-Sunday, 9 AM to dusk - Skeet/Trap: Tuesdays 5-9 PM, Sundays 10 AM-3 PM - Walk-ins welcome Sundays 10 AM-3 PM and Tuesday evenings 6-10 PM
- •Skeet/Trap: $8 per round ($6 members, $4 youth)
- •Enclosed Pistol Range: $3 per session
- •Rifle Range: Members only (guests $5)
"Qua-Ke-Zik members are passionate about the outdoors and shooting sports. We're strongly dedicated to preserving this distinctly American heritage through education, participation, and plenty of conversation."
- •Club Culture: Monthly meetings second Tuesday of each month. Regular social events throughout the year. Real hunters and shooters who like to swap stories around the fireplace.
