Own Boundary Line Outfitters?
01 // DETAILS
Full description and what we offer
Boundary Line Outfitters doesn't guess where geese will be. Their guides work year-round scouting fields, patterning birds, and maintaining private land access across the Rochester area — one of the best giant Canada goose hunting regions in the country. That groundwork is what separates a successful hunt from sitting in the cold hoping for birds.
The Work Nobody Sees: Before you step into the blind at dark, guides have already scouted that morning, set decoys, brushed in concealment, and prepped the setup. They stay dialed in between morning and afternoon hunts, resetting for the second hunt window.
The Rochester area is where the Giant Canada Goose made its comeback. In the early 1960s, researchers confirmed that a massive flock wintering on Silver Lake (kept ice-free by a power plant's warm discharge) represented a population thought extinct for decades. From that discovery came one of North America's greatest conservation successes — restocking programs that rebuilt the species across the Midwest.
Today, that same population migrates through the fields where Boundary Line runs hunts. When you hunt here, you're part of that story.
You show up before dawn. Guides handle setup, calling, bird retrieval, and blind management. You hunt, sip coffee in a heated blind, and let the professionals run the show. Morning hunts come with lunch and a reset before the afternoon session — when birds pile back into the fields for that final-light rush.
