What started as just a few wild turkeys on the property has grown to over 100 birds. His grandson shot his first tom at age 8—that's the kind of hunting experience Gobbler Grove delivers.

The track record speaks for itself: In 2012, 14 hunters bagged 12 toms. In 2013, they had 100% success with one hunter taking a 12-pound hen sporting an 8-inch beard.
No Quota Area 157 | September 1-15
Bait stations spread over a 10-mile radius. Since this is a No Quota Area, you can purchase your bear license over the counter—no lottery required.

Larry has harvested multiple bears including a 466-pound boar that's mounted in the hunting shack. Last fall, his son and another youngster each took their first bears—275 and 225 pounds dressed.
Bow Hunting (Permit Area 157, Early Season) - 420 acres private land + 360 acres state land - Semi-guided with pre-scouted stand locations - Bring 2-3 portable stands for different wind directions
Muzzle Loader (Late Season) - 1,100 acres private + 360 acres state land - Semi-guided with enclosed stands (heaters included) - Many stands positioned on food plots - Ladder stands available or bring your own - Dates vary year to year—no rifle hunts offered
Grounds open to self-guided hunters during grouse and pheasant seasons with guest house accommodations. Late season combo packages available after Thanksgiving through January 1. No reservations between October 20 and Thanksgiving.
