Legends Outfitters started when three experienced waterfowl hunters—Joe Heintz, Trevor Luedke, and Ben Meillier—decided to combine their skills. Each brought years of experience from separate operations (Fowl Family, Goose Busters, and Landing Zone Outfitters). After hunting together and recognizing their shared expertise, they joined forces to offer clients access to proven tactics and multiple hunting locations.
Dry Field Hunts - West Metro Minneapolis area (ducks or geese, depending on conditions) - Layout blind setups with mobile scouting - Big decoy spreads and competitive goose calling
Seasonal Opportunities - September 6-21: Early Canada Goose Season - September 27-28, October 4-November 30: Regular Waterfowl Season - December 1-31: Late Season Canada Goose (Fergus Falls) - Big Water Hunts (coming soon)
September Molt Migrator Hunts are their specialty—they've mapped historic heavy flight paths in the West Metro that bring birds in consistently when conditions are right.
