Headwaters Permit to Carry Training specializes in certified instruction for Minnesota's permit-to-carry requirement. They've kept their class cost at $89 per person—the lowest rates in the area—since day one, with zero hidden fees.
Your registration covers:
Classes run roughly four hours and meet in a single session. No multi-week commitment, no online modules—just classroom instruction followed by hands-on range work.
Classroom portion covers: - Revolver components, operation, and handling - Semi-automatic pistol mechanics and safety - Ammunition basics and selection - Firearm handling fundamentals and shooting techniques - Weapon retention, holstering, and concealment methods - Minnesota statutes on firearm use and deadly force - Developing mindset for life-threatening situations - Levels of mental awareness and decision-making - Ethical and responsible use of firearms
Range qualification portion covers: - Safe handling demonstration - Live-fire shooting at official target - Minimum point threshold (specific percentage varies) - Personal coaching to ensure you pass the qualification
You receive a training completion certificate immediately upon passing—required for your county sheriff or police chief application.
