XSteel Targets

XSteel Targets manufactures AR500 and AR550 steel shooting targets in Dodge Center, Minnesota. Everything is made in-house and made in America. Their focus is simple: build targets that outlast competitors while keeping prices competitive.

Both materials handle impacts differently. AR500 (Brinell hardness ~500) works for most rifle and pistol calibers. AR550 (Brinell ~550) goes harder for high-velocity centerfire rounds. XSteel uses laser cutting instead of traditional methods—CNC lasers don't transfer excess heat to the steel, which means less warping and metal fatigue. Result: targets stay flat and true through thousands of rounds.
