AR-15/MSR for home defense

This course is presented by the Aitkin branch of Kinetic Defense LLC and covers the AR-15 family of rifles, its components and accessories, care and cleaning, basic handling, relevant MN laws, and defensive considerations when choosing a rifle for home defense. Participants can be at any skill level but must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid Minnesota driver’s license or state ID to participate. Course will be held at the Wealthwood Rod and Gun Club on 5/16/26 and will take approx. 6hrs to complete. Cost is $120 and includes range fee.Students who attend must bring eye protection, hearing protection, their own firearm in good repair, and 120 rounds of ammunition.
