Bleeding Control Course will be on Saturday , 2023 (Free Course)

Stop-The-Bleed Training Course We have now confirmed and planned a training course to educate members and families on proper use of tourniquets and bleeding control dressings. There will be 3 available sessions between 8 am - 12 pm. (More are possible depending on public interest) The bleeding control course is aimed at providing a 60-minute course that involves a didactic and hands-on training on management of bleeding. It has been developed by the American College of Surgeons (ACS) and helps educate everyone in the community on how to control bleeding. Students of the course are trained on how to control bleeding through use of direct pressure, tourniquet application, and hemostatic dressing application.
