Defensive shotgun in the home

This course is presented by the Aitkin branch of Kinetic Defense LLC and covers deployment of the modern defensive shotgun in home defense roles, its components and accessories, care and cleaning, relevant MN laws, and defensive considerations when choosing a shotgun for home defense. Participants can be at any skill level but must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid Minnesota drivers license or state ID to participate. Course will be held at the Wealthwood Rod and Gun Club on 7/18/26 and will take approx. 6hrs to complete. Cost is $120 and includes range fee. Students who attend must bring eye protection, hearing protection, their own firearm in good repair, and 75 rounds of ammunition (50 Bird shot, 20 buckshot, 5 slugs). Please click HERE to fill out the google form prior to the course.
