Bayou Wings operates out of Leland, Mississippi—a small Delta town about 135 miles south of Memphis and seven miles east of Greenville. This location matters: the area hosts hundreds of thousands of ducks and geese during winter, including Mallards, Pintails, Gadwalls, Widgeons, Teals, Wood Ducks, Canada Geese, Snow Geese, and Speckled-belly Geese.
A certified wildlife biologist manages the property to provide diverse habitat types that maximize your hunting success. Depending on where the birds are working, you'll hunt flooded rice, milo, or soybean fields; moist soil impoundments; flooded green timber; or cypress swamps. Every area is easy to access and comfortable—whether hunting from a pit blind, skid blind, coffin blind, or seated timber.
Hunts are private parties limited to four people maximum (your retriever is welcome). Here's the flow:
Your guide is a skilled professional dedicated to making your hunt memorable—they do the calling, decoys, and heavy lifting. You shoot your limit and follow all federal and state game laws.

If you're staying multiple days, guided quail hunts, sporting clays, and oxbow lake fishing are available by appointment. Leland also has state parks, wildlife management areas, and national wildlife refuges for wildlife viewing. Public golf, tennis courts, and world-class riverboat gaming are minutes away.
What to Bring: Mississippi small game license + state waterfowl stamp, federal waterfowl stamp, face mask or headnet, non-toxic shot ammunition, chest waders, warm camouflage and rain gear. Licenses can be purchased by calling 1-800-5-GO-HUNT (8 a.m.–5 p.m. CST).
