David Westmoreland started Prairieland Outfitters in 1998 with a simple philosophy: take as few hunters as possible while maintaining the properties properly. That approach hasn't changed. Today PLO manages 40,000+ acres of prime whitetail, elk, and turkey property across Missouri—all while deliberately limiting hunter numbers to preserve the experience.

Most properties see no more than one hunter group per year. Some have just one hunter per 1,000 acres. This means:

PLO works with Biologic to maintain extensive food plots on every property. Beyond that:

• •Extensive trail camera network dating back to 1998—typically photographing every harvested animal
• •Accurate annual inventory of available game
