The 1of100 Concealed Carry Standard was developed from what was likely the most difficult Law Enforcement firearms qualification to have ever existed. Many years ago, We decided that the FAM TPC was a worthy “standard” to follow and the skills required to pass the course of fire carried over well to the concealed carry arena.  It’s certainly not an easy qualification to research or collect information on.  I don’t think it’s “shrouded in secrecy” itself, more the mission and the people doing the mission needed the secrecy.
