Thorp Creek - Private Shooting Range

Thorp Creek is an exclusive, members-only private shooting range located on 30 acres in Taney County near Branson, Missouri, just outside Hollister. The facility combines premium infrastructure with a commitment to safety and community.

The range features a carefully maintained shooting environment designed for serious marksmen and firearms enthusiasts:

• •Four rifle shooting stands with concrete foundations and covered/shaded stalls
• •Four pistol shooting stands with NRA-compliant berm construction
• •Steel targets at 100 and 300 yards on the rifle range (½" AR500 plasma-cut, regularly repainted)
• •Pistol range targets: Paper targets up to 50 feet, moveable steel and paper targets to 25 yards
• •Sighting targets with both paper and steel at 50 yards
• •Member clubhouse and education building available during range visits
• •Clay shooting stand (wobble bird) available to members during season

Thorp Creek accommodates diverse shooting disciplines:

• •Rifle shooting at 100 and 300-yard distances
• •Pistol training and practice with multiple target options
• •Steel target shooting for satisfying feedback and target durability
• •Clay/bird shooting via wobble bird stand
• •Defensive and tactical training with professional instruction

The range offers comprehensive firearms education including:

• •NRA firearms certification courses
• •Concealed carry training and Missouri CCW courses
• •Pistol and rifle instruction (introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels)
• •Women's defensive pistol training programs
• •NRA Range Safety Officer certification

All members undergo background checks and required safety orientation to ensure a secure, courteous environment. Current Missouri CCW permits can cover both safety training and background check requirements. Family memberships are available.
