Know Before You Go: The store closes Sundays. Call ahead during winter months—business slows significantly in the off-season.
Hunters throughout the area stop in to show off their catches, and photos from bear, elk, mountain lion, and turkey hunts fill the famous "brag book" near the door. Manager Jacob and the team are eager to help with current fishing reports—particularly valuable during salmon spawning season and kokanee runs on Lake Kookanusa.
