Own Powder River Outfitters?
01 // DETAILS
Full description and what we offer
Powder River Outfitters owns and leases several hundred square miles of prime hunting land in Southeastern Montana. The region holds some of the largest whitetail, mule deer, antelope, and turkeys in the world—and the guides here know how to find them.
Family-owned and operating since at least 2014 under current management, Powder River has built a reputation on individual attention and successful hunts. Every client gets their own guide, and the outfit's pledge is simple: put in the extra effort to deliver a hunting experience worth remembering.

"I have been going to Powder River Outfitters since 2009 and everyone there has become like family. I've never missed a year and look forward to it year after year! My favorite is rattling whitetails in the peak of the rut, and I also love kicking off the hunting season with archery antelope." — Melissa Bachman
Rustic but comfortable. Heated trailers with electric lights and comfortable mattresses. All equipment is furnished except personal effects. A cook prepares meals on-site, and special dietary requests can be accommodated with prior notice.
Powder River takes trophy care seriously—meat, antlers, and capes are handled with the same care you'd give them yourself. Clients cover the cost of freight, taxidermy, and meat processing.
One-Animal Commitment: If you wound an animal, it's yours. The guides will make every attempt to recover it, and no other animals will be harvested until recovery is complete.
