Montana In-Person Hunter Education Field Day for Online Students - Missoula, MT

This is the in-person field component for hunters who completed Montana's online hunter education course. You'll finish your certification by demonstrating practical shooting skills and firearm handling under a Fish & Wildlife instructor's watch at the Region 2 Office in Missoula.

The field day puts you on the range to prove you can safely handle your rifle or shotgun and understand the mechanics of what you're carrying into the field. It's the capstone that turns your online coursework into a valid hunting license.
