Ash Creek Outfitters operates four cattle ranches in northwestern and central Nebraska, combined with private leases and public land access. That's 120,000 private acres plus 160,000 acres of public national forest and grassland—all within 30 minutes of their Chadron headquarters.

Their terrain varies by location: Pine Ridge National Forest canyons, rolling Sandhills meadows dotted with pivot-irrigated corn and alfalfa fields, and southern plateaus cut by creeks and rough canyons near the Nebraska/Kansas border. They've planted food plots specifically for wildlife along the Bellfourche River and actively manage deer populations through point limitations and supplemental minerals.
