Full description and what we offer
Mad Cow Paintball sits on 40 dedicated acres of a family farm near Cedar Creek, just outside Louisville. The operation started in July 2002 and has grown into a 7-field complex run by a family that's owned the land since 1864. Three adult kids help run the day-to-day, with plans for one to eventually take it over. It's genuinely a mom-and-pop business—they're clear about that, and they run it that way.
Standard Paintball ($50 rental, ages 10+) - Uses .68 caliber paintballs (the industry standard) - Hits feel like an elastic band snap to a bee sting - 3 hours of play time - Rental includes: marker, face mask, 3000 PSI air tank, 500 paintballs, free air fills all day, pod pack (if available)
Low Impact Paintball ($50 rental, ages 8+) - Smaller paintballs, 68% less force than standard - Designed for first-time players and kids - Feels like a soft pinch, not a sting - Same 3-hour package as Standard
Gellyball ($30 for 2 hours, ages 5+) - Electric launcher shoots 8mm water orbs - No mess, lightest impact of the three - Feels like getting flicked repeatedly - Groups of 6+ players, must reserve and prepay
All rentals include entry fee, marker, mask, air tank, 500 rounds, unlimited air fills, and pod pack. Rentals must be booked at least a week in advance.
All fields are on flat terrain near Turkey Creek. The air-ball fields operate only during non-frost weather.
Mad Cow runs a field-paint-only operation. No BYOP (bring your own paintballs). They keep inventory in climate-controlled storage, selling fresh stock (usually within a month of manufacture) to ensure it breaks cleanly every shot.

Mad Cow doesn't believe in "Customer Appreciation Discount Days." Their position: customers should be appreciated daily, not once a year. They price fairly year-round and reinvest profits into field maintenance and staff.
Their mission: "Become the largest and best paintball operation in Nebraska, complete with scenario games, tournaments." They see other fields as allies helping grow the sport, not competitors.
