GAIM manufactures virtual reality shooting simulators that run on Meta Quest 2, 3, 3S, and Pro headsets. The system was invented by Aimpoint, the optics company, bringing professional-grade ballistics and realistic training into VR.

The core GAIM system pairs with Meta Quest hardware and works with dedicated training controllers:

• •Wooden Stock or Adjustable Wooden Stock for shotgun training

Once you own a GAIM simulator, you unlock access to scenarios and can purchase additional training modules.

The Range Builder lets you design custom shooting stages directly in the VR headset using an intuitive drag-and-drop interface. Choose from:

• •Steel and paper targets
• •Walls and obstacles
• •Penalty targets for added difficulty
• •45-degree, 180-degree, or 360-degree shooting angles
• •Handgun, shotgun, or rifle configurations
• •Custom ammunition limits per stage

Once built, stages are saved and can be published to share with other GAIM users. Points calculate automatically using IPSC hit factor scoring, so you compete against realistic standards. A 12-month subscription to GAIM Range is included with purchase.

GAIM offers scenario bundles across two categories:

• •Autumn Stag – Controlled stag hunt in autumn forest with quick foxes to watch for
• •Bear Valley – Bear hunting with realistic animal behavior; wounded bears become aggressive. Updated graphics and AI.

Unlike range visits, VR training eliminates three major costs: ammunition, range fees, and drive time. You practice unlimited scenarios in your home with zero per-trigger-press cost after initial setup. Ballistics are realistic—Aimpoint's engineering ensures shot placement mirrors real-world performance.

Scenarios rotate between slow, methodical hunting (patience-based) and fast-paced sport shooting (speed and accuracy). The community aspect means thousands of custom courses from other GAIM users are available to train.

You need a compatible GAIM training controller to use any scenario. The system doesn't work with standard Meta Quest controllers—GAIM-specific rifles and handgun grips provide the realistic ergonomics and trigger feedback that matter for dry fire training.
