PCP Ammunition started with a simple problem: warfighters needed lighter ammunition without sacrificing performance. What they built instead was revolutionary—polymer-cased cartridges that outperform brass while cutting weight by 30%.

Their patent-pending polymer cases use a metal head that handles extreme pressures and violent firearm actions. The result: ammunition that meets SAAMI specifications for both dimension and pressure while delivering superior accuracy. As a bonus, polymer cases reduce heat transfer to the chamber.

PCP doesn't just make ammo—they inspect it like a government contract demands:

• •Automated production: High-end linear loading with custom automated bullet and primer sealing eliminates human error
• •Camera and laser inspection: Every round checked against dozens of cameras and lasers (based on US Army ATACs system) for critical dimensions, concentricity, and proper sealing
• •Precision measurement: Dimensions verified to .0005", bullet extraction force tested, waterproofing validated
• •Temperature testing: From -40°F to +165°F

They also use Oehler Ballistic Lab hardware, piezoelectric pressure transducers, and Savage range systems for validation.

• •Current Status: PCP is focused on military and law enforcement contracts. They're not currently selling to the commercial market, though they plan to release polymer ammunition to civilians in the future.

• •Calibers: Currently producing premium rifle cartridges only (no pistol ammo yet).

• •Performance: Match-grade accuracy from factory ammunition. No special storage required—treat it like any standard ammunition.

• •Reloading: Do not reload PCP cases. Polymer case capacity differs from brass, which creates unsafe pressures with standard reloading data.

• •Temperature Limits: Commercial grade not rated below 0°F (military version handles colder). In extreme heat, polymer cases will cook-off like brass in closed-bolt firearms.

• •Fluted Chambers: Do not use in firearms with fluted chambers.
