Full description and what we offer

Pine Peak Outfitters operates out of Ely, NV and specializes in guided hunts for trophy mule deer, elk, bighorn sheep, mountain lion, and antelope throughout eastern and southern Nevada. They hunt across White Pine, Nye, Elko, Clark and Lincoln Counties.

Most of Pine Peak's guides are native to Nevada—they know the terrain, the units, and where the quality animals are. Clients describe hunting with them like "hunting with a group of your buddies that happen to be very knowledgeable."

Every hunt includes:

  • Licensed, experienced guides who specialize in their assigned units
  • Transportation via four-wheel drive vehicles, ATVs, and UTVs
  • Spot-and-stalk hunting tactics for maximum trophy quality
  • Pre-hunt scouting starting in July to locate the best animals

Nevada is a draw state for all big game except mountain lion tags, which are available over-the-counter. Pine Peak can guide you through the application process and recommend the best units for your experience level.

For most deer and elk hunters, they recommend units: 021, 061-068, 081, 073-079, 091, 103-109, 111-115, 121, 131-134, 221-223, 231, 241-245, 251-254, 271-272.

Hunting Nevada means steep, rocky, sometimes unforgiving terrain. The terrain varies from low white sage valleys to scattered juniper rolling hills. Antelope hunts often involve spotting dozens of bucks daily (averaging 13-15 inches) while searching for the 76-82+ inch trophy bucks.

Physical preparation before your hunt is essential.

Pine Peak operates with a 15-person crew including Brian Gallagher, Casey McCurdy, Chris Veldman, Eric Quenzer, Gene Akins, Jason McNutt, Jake Rosevear, Juan Torrealday, Matt Blackburn, Moe Spillman, Pat Gallagher, Rob Honea, Robert Cowan, Tony Marich, and Tristan Meizel.
