Full description and what we offer
SKOUT Airguns manufactures advanced air rifles that combine electropneumatic technology with precision engineering. Based in Nevada, the company designs and builds the EPOCH and EVO platforms—air rifles that compete against traditional firearms in accuracy and customization.
The EPOCH represents SKOUT's flagship design. Unlike traditional airguns, it uses an electronic trigger that acts as an actuator for the rifle's control system. This means:
- •Completely customizable trigger weight, length, and feel - no traditional hammer or sear
- •Three firing modes: MATCH (precision competition), HUNT (field shooting), and RELEASE (training)
- •Electronic shot timers, auto-off features, and audio feedback - all programmable
- •Sub-MOA accuracy at 100 yards with factory standard barrels across multiple calibers
Every SKOUT barrel is tested on their on-site 100-yard indoor range before approval for production. They offer two barrel strategies:
Hybrid Carbon Composite Bull Barrels (Factory Standard) - Thick carbon outer wall bonded to an alloy liner - Reduces weight while maintaining steel-barrel rigidity and vibration dampening - Available in .177, .22, .25, and .30 calibers
Premium Upgrade Barrels (Limited Production) - Lothar Walthar polygonal rifled barrels (.22, .25, .30 calibers) - $200-300 - TJ .30 caliber hammer-forged 6-land barrel - $250-325 - All tested factory before shipment
The EPOCH's barrel lock system allows indexing without removal—useful for competitive shooters who need repeatable positioning.
SKOUT engineered their air system using expertise from the paintball industry:
- •Carbon fiber air tanks in 500cc and 580cc sizes
- •Removable design for easy transport and tank replacement
- •Custom stainless steel pin valve protects aluminum threads from wear
- •On/Off bottle adapter - serviceable and rebuildable components
- •All tanks meet U.S. safety and inspection standards
The system reduces vibration and wiggle that compromise accuracy. Separating the tank from the airgun body allows independent repair or replacement without damaging critical components.
The SKOUT magazine features:
- •Magnetic lid - prevents spills, fast ammunition access
- •Caliber-specific capacities for pellets and slugs
- •Adjustable tension settings for fine-tuned feeding
- •User-serviceable design - shooters can maintain and adjust tension themselves
Skeletonized Shoulder Rest (SSR) - Single-piece billet aluminum, hard anodized finish - Designed for slug shooters, hunters, and mobile shooting - Includes sling connection points
Benchrest Chassis (Optional) - Extensive adjustments: total length, shoulder pad height, cheek pad elevation - Mounts for rear rests, weights, aftermarket shooting aids - Built for competitive benchrest and fixed-position shooting
Modular Grip System - Soft, grippy material with interchangeable palm swell pads - Three thickness options included (Level 1 standard, plus two larger) - Top slot and bottom bolt-on pommel for secure fastening
All SKOUT airguns feature hard anodization (not paint or Cerakote). This electrochemical process permanently hardens the aluminum surface, making it more resistant to scratches and wear. Available in matte black standard or color-accented options: white, grey, brown, red, green, pink, or gold.
