West Hill Outfitters started when Adam and Nicole Dubriske honeymooned hunting rabbits in Northern New Hampshire. What began on their 10-acre West Hill homestead in 2010 has expanded significantly—they now operate locations in Troy NH, Pittsburg NH, and winter training in Hoffman, NC. The entire family hunts and trains dogs together, and their children have grown up in the business.

Full-day hunts tailored to your abilities and preferences. Hunt areas combine mixed hardwoods, softwoods, and harvested timber in Northern New Hampshire. The terrain can be challenging, but logging roads throughout the territory provide easier alternatives when needed.

West Hill specializes in training bird dogs for grouse and woodcock hunting. Services include:

• •Gun dog training for hunters ready to work in the field
• •Puppy development to build foundation skills
• •Pre-season tune-ups for dogs that need refreshers
• •Grouse camp intensive training on wild birds
• •Trialing for competition preparation
• •Conditioning and field readiness programs
• •Training on actual wild grouse and woodcock in New Hampshire terrain

You can bring your own dog to rotate into daily hunts if you want.

Expanded services include:

Fishing (April-September): Full-day trips on a licensed 20' Angler cuddy cabin. Specialty is landlocked salmon and trout on Lake Winnipesaukee, Squam Lake, Lake Francis, and the Connecticut Lakes. All equipment provided. Rate: $375 for 5-hour trips (1-2 people).

Bear Hunting (September): Access to thousands of acres of Northern NH forest. 2-day/3-night hunts over bait from ground blinds or tree stands. Rate: $1,600 per person.
