Full description and what we offer
Santa Fe Guiding Co. specializes in guided waterfowl hunts across southern New Mexico's best duck waters. Located at the intersection of the Central and Pacific Flyways, the region draws exceptional variety during winter migration—mallards, pintails, wigeon, all three teal species, gadwalls, canvasbacks, ringnecks, redheads, and buffleheads.
Primary hunting locations:
Guides scout regularly and adjust based on water levels, weather, and flyway activity. Private and public land access.
"Dave and Stetson are masters on the water. Whether you're in the boat or watching Stetson bring one back across the current, you know you're in good hands."
Small private parties only – 2–3 hunters maximum. No mixed groups, no crowded blinds. Greater flexibility and personal attention.
Hunts are led by Dave Fuss, a veteran guide with 30+ years experience in big game and bird hunting. His chocolate lab Stetson retrieves with precision and calm focus.
