Tru Flight Adventures operates mule deer hunts on private ranches spanning over 500,000 acres in New Mexico's unit 12. These are spot-and-stalk hunts in high desert terrain at approximately 7,500 feet elevation with pinon and juniper vegetation.
The ranches hold some of the best mule deer genetics available, with very low deer densities. That combination means hunters who are prepared have good odds at seeing 180-inch-plus caliber bucks.
Hunters need to prepare for 300-400 yard shots due to the open terrain.
