Experience Outdoors operates on Scott's Cobble Mountain, the site of Lake Placid's oldest ski hill that operated between 1938 and 1973. Since purchasing the property in early 2017, they've transformed the historic terrain into a full-service adventure park.
The zip line course consists of six separate lines totaling over 2,000 feet with continuous views of the Great Range Mountains and the Olympic Bobsled Track. Two guides accompany every participant the entire time. The course is designed to start small and gradually increase heights—if you're uncomfortable at any point, you can exit with no penalty (though no refund is issued once you've started).

The 3D archery course features 20 targets that change every 6 weeks and for tournaments. The course is about a 1.5-mile walk with changing elevations across the property. Members check in at the front desk and shoot anytime during the day—no reservations needed, but membership is mandatory.
Three Competition Classes: - Cub Class (Red Pins): Maximum 25 yards - Hunter Class (White Pins): Maximum 45 yards - Open Class (Black Pins): Maximum 55 yards
Experience Outdoors employs fully accredited NYS-certified guides who plan complete outfitted trips throughout the Adirondack High Peaks region and across New York State.

Low ropes course elements focus on leadership, communication, problem-solving, and coaching. Exercises are designed specifically for your group with predetermined objectives and expected outcomes. No harnesses or special gear required—just regular workout attire.

Minimum group size: 4 people. They can accommodate groups of any size. All ages and ability levels can participate.
