Full description and what we offer
Genesee County Fish & Game Protective Association operates Godfrey's Pond as a private membership organization built for year-round outdoor use. What started as a conservation club in 1909 has grown into a 100+ acre facility offering multiple ways to spend time outdoors—not just hunting and fishing.
| Activity | Details |
|---|---|
| Fishing | Stocked trout pond, peaceful setting |
| Swimming | Pool area for members and guests |
| Kayaking | Calm waters for paddling |
| Trail Walking | Scenic paths through the grounds |
| Camping | Sites available with seasonal rates and winter storage |
"Consider Us Your Second Home" - the club's philosophy centers on creating year-round gathering spaces
Godfrey's Pond hosts regular events including spaghetti dinners, carnivals, Hawaiian luaus, live bands, parades, and community campfires. The 2025 calendar shows consistent activity designed to build community among members.
Membership is the path to facility access. The club maintains strict privacy protections for member data and operates as a not-for-profit conservation organization. Membership renewals happen annually, with camping fees varying by season.
