Full description and what to expect
Cowboy Action Shooting at Tioga County Sportsmen's Association puts you on the clock with single-action revolvers, lever rifles, and shotguns through Old West-themed scenarios. You compete under an adopted alias in period costume, racing against time across multiple timed stages that test your draw, accuracy, and gun handling.
Each stage mimics a piece of frontier life—bank robbery, cattle drive, frontier justice. You're scored on speed and accuracy combined, so precision matters as much as trigger control. It's competitive but welcoming, and the whole event runs on the assumption that shooters came to test themselves against the clock and other competitors who share the same passion for practical shooting with historical flair.
