Albany County Pistol Club is a members' pistol club in Glenmont, New York, with an indoor, climate-controlled classroom and range on site.
For over a decade, the club has taught the state-required course for a New York pistol permit, covering the revolver and the semi-automatic pistol. Instruction is led by NRA-certified pistol instructors and Range Safety Officers, and covers firearm safety and handling, function and maintenance, marksmanship fundamentals, concealed-carry considerations, and state and federal gun law, combining classroom instruction with live-fire exercises on the range.
