Safe Shoot NY operates an indoor shooting facility in Kingston at 10 Kieffer Lane, serving the Hudson Valley with range access, firearms training, rentals, and retail. The facility is open Monday–Friday 10am–7pm, Saturday 9am–5pm, and Sunday 10am–5pm. Appointments are required for all range sessions.

Safe Shoot offers the NYS 18-Hour Handgun Safety Course, which combines 16 hours of classroom instruction with 2 hours of live-fire range training. This is the course required for pistol permit applications in New York State. Call (845) 443-7727 to sign up—spots fill up regularly.

Note: NYS pistol permit, active military ID, or law enforcement ID is required to shoot handguns on the range.

Non-Member Range Fees: - Mon–Thu: $25/hr (first shooter) + range ammo; $20/hr (second shooter in stall) - Fri–Sun: $30/hr (first shooter) + range ammo; $25/hr (second shooter) - Ladies Day (Every Tuesday): $10 lane + $10 gun rental + 10% off ammo + 1 free target

Gun Rentals (require range ammo purchase): - Pistol: $20/hr - Standard Rifle: $30/hr - Premium Rifle: $35/hr - Ultra-Premium Rifle: $40/hr - Shotgun: $45/hr (slugs only)

Members get unlimited range time using their own ammunition or house stock, 5% off ammo purchases, and free gun rental credits:

First responders, military (active/retired), law enforcement, and corrections officers get 25% off all membership rates with proof of service.

Safe Shoot has a 5,000 sq ft event space with seating for up to 350 people. The facility accommodates corporate events, seminars, parties, and weddings with full A/V capability and flexible room configurations. Contact events at (845) 443-7727 for booking.

The range welcomes visitors from outside the US. Long gun rentals are available to international guests—just bring a valid form of ID (passport, driver's license, etc.). Non-handgun shooters can access the range without permit requirements.

• •Children ages 12–17 can shoot long guns with a parent/guardian present (proof of age required: birth certificate, passport, driving permit, or vaccination card)
• •Pregnant women are not permitted on the range floor
• •Wear protective clothing to prevent case ejection burns (jacket recommended if wearing low-cut tops)
• •All bags checked for ammunition and firearms at entry
• •No outside ammunition except for members (members can bring their own or purchase on-site)
