Double T Archery Club operates on 50 acres of woodlands in Amherst, NY with a straightforward mission: provide space to practice and compete. The club stays open sunrise to sunset, 365 days a year—no seasonal closures.
Anyone can use the practice range without membership. Drop $10 in the envelope at the clubhouse and shoot. The shooting lanes are marked, and you've got access from dawn to dusk whenever you want to show up.
Membership requires completing an application form and attending a club meeting for a brief interview and vote. Once in, you unlock:
- •Two complete 14-target field courses
- •3D shooting course
- •Member-only tree stand
- •Fire pit access
- •Clubhouse booking for parties and gatherings
- •Member expectation: 10 work hours per year. This includes grass cutting, trail maintenance, setting up for shoots, and other club upkeep. Work parties are scheduled to help members complete hours and get direction on projects.
The club hosts events throughout the year. Winter 3D League runs January through February with $15 walk-on fees and a kitchen open for breakfast (cash only). Youth programs run seasonally in summer. Check their website for the current event schedule.
Clean up after yourself. Be respectful of other members and wildlife. Treat the place like home.
Equipment rentals are not available.

Drive north on French Rd until you see the sign on the left, then follow the path for half a mile. Turn right into the practice field lot.
