Location details and information

T-M-T Hunting Preserve is a premier hunting and shooting destination in Staatsburg, New York, nestled in the beautiful Hudson Valley approximately 75 miles north of New York City. Since 1965, T-M-T has been offering genuine upland hunting experiences and exciting clay target shooting for sportsmen of all skill levels.

T-M-T Hunting Preserve specializes in multiple shooting and hunting disciplines:

  • •Upland Bird Hunting - Walk-up hunts for hard-flying pheasants and chukar partridges across 100 acres of extensively-managed natural and cultivated cover (October–March)
  • •Mallard Duck Hunting - Half-day hunts over decoys from heated, indoor/outdoor blinds on the preserve pond (October–November)
  • •Clay Target Shooting - Five-stand clay range with double wobble and automatic traps for varied presentations including crossing, quartering, going-away, and springing teal targets (April–September)
  • •Combination Hunts - Half-day or full-day pheasant-duck combinations for versatile wingshooting
  • •Gun Dog Memberships - Programs for hunters with their own bird dogs

The preserve maintains over 100 acres per hunting area, ensuring safe, natural, and challenging environments. Game birds are large, hard-flying, and fully-feathered. The clay range accommodates beginner, intermediate, and experienced shooters. Professional guides and trained retrievers are available, though hunters may bring their own dogs.

Open to the public by reservation. No hunting license or duck stamp required for preserve hunts. Non-toxic ammunition is required for duck hunting. All hunters must wear orange safety gear afield.
