Anson County Chamber of Commerce

The Anson County Chamber of Commerce is a nonprofit organization serving the business community and residents of Anson County, North Carolina. Located in Wadesboro, the chamber functions as a business networking and advocacy organization—not a firearms retailer or shooting facility.

The chamber organizes community events, provides business resources, and promotes economic development in the region. Their membership includes local businesses, and they operate several signature events throughout the year.

Their flagship event is the 28th Annual Big Game Hunt Tournament, held November 28-29, 2025 at Four Branches Sporting Preserve in Polkton, NC. This is one of North Carolina's largest and longest-running hunting tournaments, consistently drawing over 500 participants from across the state.

Tournament Details: - Registration deadline: Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at 5 p.m. - Weigh-ins: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. both days at Four Branches Sporting Preserve - Legal weapons allowed: bow and arrow, compound bow, rifles of legal caliber, shotguns - Hunters may hunt anywhere in North Carolina where they have legal rights - Youth Division available for ages 8-15 - Team competitions permitted (2-4 person teams, does only) - Winnings of $600+ result in 1099 MISC forms

Beyond the Big Game Hunt, the chamber hosts additional community events including Clays for Commerce, Kids Expo, Oyster Roast, Politics After Dark, and Safety Awards programs.
