Full description and what we offer
Coastal Timberlands Company (CTC) operates a digital leasing platform that makes it simple for hunt clubs to find and secure hunting rights on managed timberland across West Virginia and other Appalachian regions. Instead of traditional paper-based leasing, everything happens online—from property search to lease execution to payment.
The platform centers around Recreational Lease Units (RLUs)—individually mapped tracts of land with defined acreage, boundaries, and lease terms. Hunt clubs search available RLUs geographically by state and county, filter by acreage and other characteristics, and place bids directly through the website.
Key features: - 24-hour account accessibility - Interactive map navigation with zoom, directional arrows, and RLU boundary display - Advanced RLU filter for minimum/maximum acreage and other property specs - Secure online bidding and lease agreement downloads - Payment options: credit card, e-check, cashier's check, or money order
Once your lease agreement is executed and payment is received, the club contact will be notified by email and can begin hunting immediately.
CTC is a timber management company dedicated to forest stewardship across the Southeast. The company manages three primary forest types:
Beyond hunting leases, CTC focuses on high-value timber harvesting and wildlife enhancement across its managed properties.
A hunt club can be an individual or a group of individuals. Here's what you need to know:

| Club Name | Maximum 35 characters; no profane, embarrassing, or offensive names |
| Club Contact | One designated member (president, secretary, etc.) who receives all correspondence and is responsible for payment |

| Lease Term | June 1 – May 31 annually |
