Four Branches

Four Branches Sporting Preserve operates a European-style shooting facility in Polkton, NC—about one hour east of Charlotte. The property centers on a 21-station sporting clays course designed to replicate the shots hunters actually face in the field, plus a separate five-stand warm-up area with constantly changing station positions.

The range opened to members and their guests with two distinct shooting areas:

• •35-yard Pistol Range: 10 bays for handgun practice
• •200-yard Rifle Range: 4 bays for centerfire rifles

Firing must cease when stop signs are pulled. All firearms go unloaded on the shooting bench while shooters back away. Key restrictions include:

• •Must be 18+ for rifle ammo, 21+ for pistol ammo
• •No one under 10 on the ranges; anyone under 18 needs an adult
• •No full auto firearms, even with legal licensing
• •No rifles larger than .308
• •Prohibited ammo: tracers, armor-piercing (steel core or green tip), aluminum case, and steel core rounds
• •No rapid fire, double-tapping, or horseplay
• •Absolutely no alcohol before or during shooting

• •Membership Perks: One spouse and any household members 18 and under included. Clay members get $100 off range membership; range members get $100 off clay membership.

• •Prepaid Target Cards (Members only):
• •1,100 targets: $400 (includes 10% show-me targets)
• •2,200 targets: $760 (includes 10% show-me targets)

Each group receives 30 show-me targets to warm up before starting the course.

• •First year: $800
• •Renewal: $700/year
• •Covers you, immediate family, and employees
• •Requires prepaid card purchase

Remaining clays on preloaded cards expire with memberships (plus one-month grace period).

• •Morning: 8:30am check-in, 9:00am pickup, 12:00pm return with game dressing
• •Afternoon: 12:30pm check-in, 1:00pm pickup, 4:00pm return (weather dependent)

• •2025 Season: April 12–May 10 (Youth: April 5–11)

• •Monday–Friday: $350 (members) / $400 (non-members)
• •Weekend: $550 (members) / $600 (non-members)
• •Includes guide fee
• •One bird limit per hunt
• •Hunting hours: Daylight until 11am
• •Minimum $60 tip required
• •One adult per guide; one youth (18 and under) may hunt with a paying adult

Four Branches hosts 8 NSCA-registered shooting events throughout 2026. Register at the NSCA website. Station sponsorships available for $350/year—limited inventory.
