Hyde-Away Guide Service offers guided duck and swan hunts on a family farm in Scranton, North Carolina. The location puts you in direct access to the Pamlico Sound's expansive wetlands and proximity to Lake Mattamuskeet, Swan Quarter, and Pungo National Wildlife Refuge—areas that attract black ducks, pintails, blue and green wing teal, gadwall, wigeon, shovelers, and tundra swans.

Five experienced guides run the operation:

• •Brody Smith (owner) - manages the family farm and combines his asphalt industry work with part-time guiding
• •Jacob Stone - grew up hunting Gulf Coast marshes, volunteer with Delta Waterfowl since high school
