Shane's Sporting Clays is a family-owned and operated shooting range located in Summerfield, North Carolina. Founded on a passion for the sport and the desire to create a welcoming community for shooters of all experience levels, Shane's has become a premier destination for sporting clays enthusiasts.

Sporting clays is a challenging clay target game designed to simulate field shooting and hunting scenarios. Unlike trap and skeet, sporting clays presents shooters with a wide variety of target presentations that duplicate the flight paths of game birds—including flushing, crossing, incoming, and angled shots.

Our facility features:

• •14-Station Main Course - Each station presents different shot types that replicate real-world hunting scenarios
• •4 Practice Stations - Dedicated areas for improving technique and skill development
• •Natural Setting - Courses utilize woods, ponds, and natural terrain to create realistic shooting environments
• •Varied Target Types - Standard clay birds, midi and mini targets, battue discs, and special rabbit targets
• •Multiple Target Presentations - Singles, pairs, simultaneous pairs, following pairs, and report pairs

Shooters enjoy a variety of challenging presentations including:

• •Grouse stations with flushing targets through trees
• •Duck stations with incoming decoy presentations
• •Crossing shots that test lead and timing
• •Angled and quartering targets
• •Variable distances and elevations

Annual memberships are available offering significant savings for regular shooters. Non-members welcome on a first-come, first-served basis. Gun rentals available for those without their own shotguns. Professional instruction available upon request.
