Elk Creek Outfitters has been guiding fishing trips since 2000—longer than any other outfitter in the area. They fish more rivers and more species than competitors, and they know every bend of the water they guide.
Trout Fishing - Rainbow and brown trout on East Tennessee tailwaters and Western North Carolina freestone streams. The Southern Appalachians offer some of the best trout water in the country.
Smallmouth Bass - What the guides are known for. Pound for pound, one of the hardest-fighting freshwater fish. The Southeast has multiple blue ribbon smallmouth rivers, and they fish them all season for both fly and conventional anglers.
Musky Fishing - "The fish of 10,000 casts." Legendarily challenging, but the most rewarding if you stick it out. Perfect for anglers hunting one big fish all day.
