Location details and information
Triad Action Shooting Club started with just a handful of friends who wanted a safe place to shoot. Over 40 years later, TASC remains a members-only private club—not a business, not open to the public, just a place for shooters who know what they're doing.
All five shooting ranges feature covered benches and separate shooting distances from 25 yards to 100 yards. You can shoot rimfire, centerfire, handguns, rifles, and shotguns (shells must be policed up). High berms and backstops isolate each range.
Active steel targets and paper target stands are built-in. Want to bring your own? You can, as long as you follow club rules.
TASC is one of the only shooting clubs in North Carolina that allows members to shoot NFA registered select-fire and fully-automatic firearms.
One-time initiation: $150 Yearly dues: $150
Why so low? TASC isn't a business. Nothing is sold at the range, no business of any kind happens there, and the range never gets rented to the general public. It exists only for members.
TASC is members-only. New applicants are considered either through member recommendation or by attending a "Meet and Greet" session with a Certified Range Officer. During the meeting, Range Officers assess your safe firearms handling and shooting experience. You don't need advanced skills—just safe gun handling and understanding of TASC's rules.
After a successful in-person meeting, a Range Officer will recommend you for membership and give you a facility tour.
