Full description and what we offer
The Black River Game Club is a premier hunting and conservation organization serving Southern Lorain and Northern Medina Counties in Ohio since 1947.
The Black River Game Club is a non-profit, member-based hunting and conservation club dedicated to preserving wildlife and providing quality hunting experiences in Ohio. Established in 1947, the club maintains lease agreements with farmer members across Southern Lorain and Northern Medina Counties, creating a network of hunting grounds for its members.
The club primarily focuses on ring-necked pheasant hunting during the open hunting season. Members have access to club farms stocked with pheasants, providing excellent opportunities for upland game hunting in the region's prime agricultural areas.
Beyond hunting, the Black River Game Club is committed to outdoor education and community outreach:
The club operates under a clear conservation mission: to conserve, restore, and manage game, fish, and wildlife habitats; promote ethical hunting and fishing practices; ensure compliance with fish and game laws; and spread knowledge of responsible wildlife stewardship. As a non-sectarian, non-political organization, the Black River Game Club welcomes sportsmen and women committed to conservation.
The club operates on a membership basis, with hunting access available to club members through established lease agreements with local farmers.
