Island Creek Sporting Clays

Island Creek Sporting Clays opened in 2004 when owner Bob Hickle, an Air Force veteran, noticed a lack of quality shooting venues in the tri-state region. The range sits on spacious grounds near Toronto, Ohio—about 40 minutes west of Pittsburgh—and serves shooters from Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia.

The course features 24 stations with challenging target presentations that simulate real hunting conditions without the field work. Whether you're practicing for competition or just getting trigger time, the layout accommodates shooters of all levels.

Bob Hickle brings serious credentials to the range. He's NSCA Level 1 certified, NRA-certified for shotgun/rifle/pistol, and recognized as an Ohio State Hunter Safety instructor. With over 40 years of shooting experience, he runs:
