Shawnee Ridge Hunting

Shawnee Ridge has been a destination for serious hunters since 1973. Family founded and operated by the Richters, the preserve sits in the foothills of Appalachia and covers one of the largest hunting properties in Southern Ohio—rugged enough to challenge experienced hunters.

Hunters stay at a rustic lodge on the property. Meals are included—multiple testimonials mention the food specifically. Guides Paul Sr., Paul Jr., and the team work with everyone from experienced hunters to first-timers and youth hunters. The terrain is intentionally challenging; this isn't a walk-and-shoot operation.

Shawnee Ridge operates their own taxidermy shop. They mount game taken on their preserve and on African safaris at competitive rates. Both exotic and African trophy mounting available.
