The Armory and Indoor Range

The Armory and Indoor Range opened in September 2016 and carries forward a legacy dating back to the mid-90s under previous names (Hidden Arms, The Firing Line, Midwest Gun Club). The facility is built on a simple mission: provide a safe, professional, and family-friendly shooting environment.

The range features a 50-foot indoor heated pistol facility with 10 shooting bays, complete with a modern HVAC system that keeps fresh air flowing through the space. Setup area for loading magazines and unloading gear is ample. The range accommodates:

• •Most handgun calibers
• •Shotguns (lead shot and slugs only—no steel shot)
• •Pistol caliber carbines (.22 LR, 9mm, etc.)
• •Centerfire rifle calibers are prohibited (no 5.56, .308, etc.)

Walk-ins are always welcome during business hours. No membership required, though memberships are available for frequent shooters.

Safety Equipment Rentals: - Hearing protection: $2.00 - Eye protection: $2.00 - Targets (large): $2.00 - Reaction targets: $1.00–$2.00

Hours: - Tuesday–Friday: 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM - Saturday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM - Sunday–Monday: Closed

The facility is wheelchair accessible. Portable oxygen is not permitted on the live-fire range.

The Armory stocks a wide selection of rental handguns, shotguns, and pistol caliber carbines. They also offer NFA/Class 3 items. Rental requirements:

• •Age 18+: Rifles and shotguns
• •Age 21+: Handguns and NFA items
• •Valid state-issued ID required
• •Completion of rental waiver
• •Basic working knowledge of the firearm required

• •Full Auto Experience: Want to shoot a full-auto H&K MP5 like military and police use? They've got it available.

The Armory runs a full slate of defensive firearm courses:

• •Women's Practical Handgun ($50)
• •2 hours classroom + 2 hours live fire
• •Topics: proper mindset, safety, gun handling
• •Beginner-friendly
• •Requires: firearm, 50 rounds ammo, safety equipment

• •Women's Defensive Handgun ($50)
• •4 hours of advanced instruction
• •Reloading drills, shooting on the move, multiple targets, cover, low-light shooting
• •Prerequisites: regular shooting experience or CCW
• •Requires: 150 rounds ammo

• •Dynamic Handgun ($100)
• •4 hours range and live fire
• •Reloading, movement, multiple targets, cover, low-light engagement
• •CCW or defensive interest required
• •Requires: 250 rounds ammo

• •Dynamic Handgun II ($100)
• •Advanced continuation of Dynamic Handgun
• •Multiple threats, intro to teamwork drills
• •Prerequisites: must complete Dynamic Handgun first
• •Requires: 200 rounds ammo

Most Saturday nights feature head-to-head competitive matches. The Armory is a registered USPSA club, so scores count toward national rankings.

• •"Run and gun" format: safely engage targets, avoid no-shoot targets
• •Test speed and accuracy under pressure

• •Cost: $15.00 + 50–100 rounds ammo
• •Threat scenario simulation with tactical problem-solving
• •Test defensive mindset and safe habits

Match results tracked on PractiScore.com. New shooters welcome—veteran competitors and match directors actively help beginners get comfortable with rules and safety.

The Armory actively supports local law enforcement as a "Blue Line" dealer, offering discounted prices on select firearms for police and safety services. The range is available for qualification requirements.

The majority of customers are shooters of all skill levels focused on personal protection—whether home defense or concealed carry. Youth ages 12+ can shoot with parental supervision (parent handles all firearm handling).
