Western Oklahoma Trophy Outfitters operates two lodge facilities and ranches across southwest and south central Oklahoma, providing fully guided and semi-guided hunts. The operation manages over 40,000 acres with a wildlife biologist on staff who helps determine sustainable harvest quotas each year. Their philosophy centers on quality over quantity—they target mature bucks and bulls while continuously improving genetics and maintaining healthy animal populations.
The genetics at WOTO produce bucks with big bodies, heavy racks, and distinctive features like stickers, kickers, splits, and droptines. Hunts take place across diverse terrain—river valleys, wide-open wheat fields, low mesquite canopy, tall oak and acorn trees along creeks, bluffs, and tributaries.
What's included in whitetail hunts: - Lodging and all meals - Pre-scouted setups - Food plots and mineral sites - Feeders - Game care and recovery - Semi-guided or fully guided options
Arrivals are 4pm or later the evening before the first hunt day. Departures are by 9am the morning after the final hunt day. If you wound a deer, your hunt ends—practice your shots before arriving.
Brett considers turkey guiding his favorite hunt type, and for good reason. The operation hunts an extremely dense Rio Grande turkey population with birds that are call-friendly and vocal. Guided hunts use run-and-gun techniques and portable pop-up blinds. Hunters choose their method—guide does the calling or hunter takes the lead.
Hunt Details: - 3 days, 3 nights - One bird harvest included - Fully customizable on request - All lodging included - Guide handles setup and transportation

Brett provides transparent season recaps in his Hunter's Journal—kill numbers, wound counts, missed shots, and honest assessments of what worked and what didn't.
Accommodations are comfortable with excellent meals included. Client testimonials consistently praise the food, lodging, professionalism, and friendly atmosphere. Guides earn high marks for dedication and focus. First-time hunters, families with children, and experienced hunters all report feeling at home.
Brett's Management Philosophy: Quality genetics and sustainable harvest. A management team including guides and a wildlife biologist set quotas to harvest mature, older bucks and bulls while replenishing populations year after year. The goal is hunts that create memories hunters return for, season after season.
