Full description and what we offer
Shelby Anderson started Goose Reapers Guided Outdoors in 2011 with a thousand-dollar loan and a tax return. What began as weekend hunts around Comanche, Oklahoma has grown into a professional operation spanning four states. The team is made up of Midwest guides staking their claim on Southern Oklahoma waterfowl, and they take their reputation seriously.
Goose Reapers specializes in field hunts over harvested wheat, barley, and corn. They trailer dozens of full-body decoys and use natural downwind cover with laydown blinds to hide hunters from smart birds. Decoy sets are torn down and reset every day—they rarely hunt the same field back-to-back to ensure fresh birds.
Hunts start at daylight after guides complete the setup. Most runs go until 11 AM or legal limit is filled. All blinds, calling equipment, and decoys are provided.
"Our foremost mission is to provide our hunters with the hunt of a lifetime." — Shelby Anderson
Aaron Howell has 15+ years chasing ducks and geese across the central and Mississippi flyways. A U.S. Coast Guard licensed captain when not guiding, he specializes in Western Oklahoma mallards and little Canadas in winter wheat fields.
